San Diego, CA. The law firm of Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick (“DDWK”) is pleased to announce the recent addition of attorneys Casey Helton, Brett Johnson, Pauline Duong, Marie Hulen, Evan McNally, Dustin Delp, and Nathanel Ghinghis.
Helton practices labor and employment law, primarily representing employers involved in discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims, as well as wage and hour disputes. She earned her law degree from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2021. Prior to joining DDWK, Helton practiced at a family law firm where she gained valuable experience litigating and mediating support and asset division matters.
Johnson’s practice is focused on the representation of businesses that are involved in litigation, including professional liability claims. He also regularly counsels and advises businesses about risk management strategies. After graduating from law school, Johnson worked with DDWK before serving as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, where he gained both valuable leadership and litigation experience as a Judge Advocate. He continues to serve as a Civil Affairs officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Johnson is a 2016 graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law.
Duong’s practice is focused on the representation of businesses and business owners, particularly in employment law. She regularly counsels business owners on state and federal employment law questions and strategies. Before joining DDWK, Duong practiced corporate law, advising tech companies on business and data privacy issues. She has prioritized public service throughout her legal career, graduating from the UC Irvine School of Law in 2021 with Pro Bono High Honors and the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services.
Hulen focuses her practice on the representation of businesses involved in employment law and commercial litigation, and in counseling business owners about employment law. Before joining the firm, Hulen practiced construction law, representing contractors in commercial disputes as well as in arbitration proceedings. Hulen earned her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2021, while working for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office, and for Federal Magistrate Judge William V. Gallo in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
McNally’s practice is in civil litigation, with a focus in labor and employment law, and commercial disputes. Prior to joining DDWK, McNally served as a judicial law clerk to Honorable William Shaw Stickman IV of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law in 2022 and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Arizona in 2019.
Delp’s practice is focused upon representing businesses, business owners, and insurance carriers in business and employment litigation as well as a wide variety of transactional projects. Delp earned his law degree from Albany Law School in 2012 and practiced extensively in New York and New Jersey before moving to San Diego and becoming a member of the California Bar in 2021.
Ghinghis focuses his practice in civil litigation, emphasizing labor and employment, commercial and business disputes, and product regulatory compliance. He practiced in Los Angeles before joining DDWK. Ghinghis earned his Juris Doctorate from LMU Loyola Law School in 2023. His advance degrees also include a Masters in Middle East and Central Asian Security Studies from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Before transitioning to law, Ghinghis held diverse roles in technology, global risk consulting, and served in the Israel Defense Forces.
