Biography
Ryan is a partner with Dunn DeSantis Walt & Kendrick. For more than 20 years, he has focused on serving clients in the construction and real estate fields. He is licensed to practice law in Idaho, Montana, California and Arizona.
Ryan represents construction clients in the prosecution and defense of claims in state and federal court, including actions for delay, liquidated damages, loss of use and defective work. He has served as lead litigation counsel for design professionals, land developers, contractors and other project participants in complex construction disputes and represented national title insurance companies and banking institutions in litigation involving the priority and enforceability of mechanics liens and stop payment notices
With respect to real property matters, Ryan represents commercial owners, land developers, community associations and other entities in litigation involving encumbrances, easements, boundary claims and encroachments. Ryan also has extensive construction and real estate transactional experience and routinely negotiates and documents commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, license agreements, design and construction contracts and other project-related documents.
